A long time ago, there was a world existing without computers and still, people were able to use mathematics in various fields involved at that time, there were several exchanging of wealth taking place and were several other fields which use an advance calculating which can't be imagined at the current time without using calculators or computers, But to your note let me remind you that the creator of computers is non-other then humans so the first-ever natural computers were the human themselves.
In the ancient age people were very intelligent to discover various methods for calculations, say for example Ancient Egyptians and Indians have been gone far ahead in discovering various concepts which gave birth to geometry, algebra, quadratic equations, surface area and volume and much more. Can we imagine a world without the base fundamentals which were gifted to us by our ancestors years ago, we know that the entire working of the computer is based on binary logic ('0's and '1's ) while we were incomplete without the 'zero' or 'shuniya' (in the Sanskrit language) which was discovered by the great ancient mathematicians and astronomer of India named as 'Aryabhata'.
After the contribution of John Napier, who is responsible for all kinds of software-oriented computers we use today, in the year 1617 the calculators were in the field which made the calculation so easy that even a 7-year-old kid can solve the same problem in some seconds which at the ancient age takes various days or months to do so.
