Various job roles in the mechanical engineering field.
Does the computer have overtaken engines in this race of revolution?
The answer is no, as mechanical engineering is being considered as an evergreen field, though the curriculum might have turned outdated for competing with the current technologies but not the field.
Now, the above statement doesn’t make any sense at all, you may ask if the curriculum is irrelevant then how it could be of any use, say for example it is not possible to make a hyperloop train or maglev train just by using the same methods which were used to make a steam locomotive. Correct! It’s true but if we dive deep into the field we would understand that the field is not just about the curriculum-based as mechanical engineering is a bit more than engineering, it is not just a field but it’s a philosophy within, again let us compare it with computer science as programming or coding would help nurture your logical thinking of brain similarly learning and knowing the mechanical engineering could give you the access to convert those physics theories or say those science fair projects which you have done during your school times into real-world objects.
Let’s say even if we are not interested in making some sort of machinery or devices, then also the field could provide you with a clarity of selecting your future career as well as there are various sub-domains in the fields or say various career opportunities which one could grab after completion of his degree in mechanical engineering like…
